  • 祇園祭

    コンチキチンの祇園囃子が夏空に響き、山や鉾が通りをゆく山鉾巡行は、祇園祭のハイライト。前祭は四条烏丸から、後祭は烏丸御池から出発します。巡行順を確認する「くじ改め」や豪快な「辻廻し」など、見所がたくさん。美しい刺しゅうや舶来の織物など山や鉾の懸装品と呼ばれる装飾品の美しさも見事です。豪華絢爛、「動く美術館」と称されます。今日は後祭りです。
